Three letter sounds

I am learning to write a three letter word, listening to the beginning, middle and end sounds.  This will help me in my reading.

Rocket ship

We have been learning about the solar system this term.  We made a rocket with paper and a straw then blew through the straw to see how far our rocket would travel.  

Measuring Challenges

During Maths Week we did lots of measuring! One of the activities was to learn to use different non-standard units for measuring with. We were learning to have an accurate starting and finishing point when we measure.

" I was very good at this. I had to put the paper clips together with no spaces and then count them one by one."

Phonics Time

Phonics lessons are a very important part of our Writing programme. In this photo I am learning to hear and record the middle sound in words. When I recognise the pattern, I can write lots of words.
